This web-site aims to be an information source for Arts activities in Hackney that are inventive and unusual. It also is an archive of ideas since the 1980's which have helped to shape the lives of many people in the borough and in some cases influenced the lives of Londoners. It will focus on the community arts that have been quite prolific during this time and the political and philosophical debate that has continues.
This web-site relies entirely on the contributions of Hackney's wonderful artists and the intellectual input of its indigenous thinkers. It is a venture with a mission to pay tribute to the great talent of the such people who work hard for little financial reward, and strive for fun.
